Day-To-Night Outfit Ideas Every Femme Fatale Needs Now
We asked stylist and creative director Jeffrey Williams to model three fun and flirty looks that will literally eviscerate every man in the room. From business casual (jumpsuits for day!) to simply chic eveningwear—plus a party-ready pin-up moment—this is your guide to getting dressed (at least partially) for every occasion. "My style is mainly focused on comfort. I travel a lot and I'm very active, so I dislike being uncomfortable or having to readjust my outfit. After comfort comes sexiness, effortless chic and a sense of mystery." Williams keeps things easy-on, easy-off in a vintage Escada jumpsuit. Boots by Syro, ring Sincerely Tommy, bag Jeffrey C. "I love my eyes because they remind me of my mother," says Williams, who to this day thinks of her when putting on mascara.
A day in @Jeffhova's chic af life
- Wake up at 5:30am or 6am and take 3 minutes to say what I'm thankful for and recite my mantras. Then take a quick glance at my emails in bed.
- Put news on in the background and play music while doing a 20 minute warm-up dance, possibly followed by Tai Chi. I wish I did this every day.
- At 7am I jump in the shower with music. Then I get dressed. Even if I'm working in my studio and have no appointments I'll still get fully dressed. It helps me get through the day and makes it easier to run out the door if any last minute meetings or errands come up.
- From there I get to work. You can find me on set with Lion Babe, creating new designs, on conference calls or sending tons of emails. I work as a creative director and own my own eponymous lifestyle brand that right now focuses on handbags, wallets, and words of affirmation.
"I found love on Tinder once...but it wasn't so tender. What I learned from it made it all worth it. It made me stronger and excited about falling in love again." Williams wears his heart on his sleeve (but off his shoulder) in a velvet dress he made of vintage fabric; a Collina Strada metallic leather jacket thrown over his shoulders creates a mixed materials moment.
